French Press: How To Use It!
Using a French Press to make Coffee is easy. The French Press may seem hard, but making Coffee in the French Press is only a few steps. The French Press can be used in a lazy way or the French Press can be used in a more involved crazy way. Using ground coffee from a super market is the lazy way. Using high quality and complex coffee beans from top notch roasters like Counter Culture, La Colombe, Just Coffee, etc. is the Crazy Way. One is really precise and one way is quicker (barely) and to the point. Below are directions I recommend for using the french press to make Coffee. I hope this assists you in using the French Press to make your Coffee. Have French Pressing!

CONVERSIONS:
1 TBSP = 15 Grams
1 Ounce = 28.34 Grams

LAZY WAY:
.80 TBSP of Coffee per 8 Ounces of Coffee

1. Put a little less than 1 TBSP of ground coffee into the bottom of French Press
2. Add boiling water to French Press, put top on French Press
3. Wait 3 minutes
4. Slowly Push Down the French Press Filter Disc
5. Pour coffee out of French Press into cup, mug or another vessel (DO NOT KEEP IN FRENCH PRESS)
6. Enjoy!

CRAZY WAY:
1 Gram of Coffee per 17 Grams of Water

1. Put French Press on scale and tare it (zero it out)
2. Measure the amount of whole coffee beans you need
3. Put whole coffee beans from French Press into grinder
4. Grind it on course setting
5. Put freshly ground coffee into bottom of French Press
6. Add boiling water to French Press, put top on French Press
7. Wait 3 minutes
8. Slowly Push Down the French Press Filter Disc
8. Pour coffee out of French Press into cup, mug or another vessel (DO NOT KEEP IN FRENCH PRESS)
9. Enjoy!
