Bengali sponge rasgullas is all time favorite and the most popular dessert. Spongy Bengali rasgullas easy to make in pressure cooker using homemade chena.
The dish is made from ball shaped dumplings of chhena (an Indian cottage cheese), cooked in light syrup made of sugar. This is done until the syrup permeates the dumplings.
Milk – 500 ml
Sugar – 150 gm
Water – 5-6 cup (small cup size)
Vinegar – 3 tbsp
Nakul dana – 6-8 pieces
