Chocolate Ice Cream (NO Ice Cream Maker) | Kitchen Time with Neha
This is another one of my mom’s recipe collection and she is the one who made it! Hope you like the video!

Here’s the written recipe:
500 ml milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp GMS powder
1/8 tsp Alginate powder
1 tbsp vanilla custard powder(or you can use cornflour with some 1-2 drops vanilla extract)
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp hot chocolate powder/drinking chocolate powder
1/2 cup heavy cream
Add milk to a vessel and add in all the ingredients one by one except the heavy cream, stirring them in.
Boil for 5 minutes while stirring and then cool completely.
Add the frozen base to a big bowl with the cream and beat till all is melted and creamy and there is no frozen base left. This takes about 10 minutes.
Freeze overnight and the next day scoop out and enjoy!
GMS(Glycerol monostearate) is a food additive used as a thickening, emulsifying, anti-caking, and preservative agent; an emulsifying agent for oils, waxes, and solvents .GMS and CMC (Carboxy methyl cellulose) are compounds used for stabilizing ice creams and are available in specialty food stores or bakeries.
Make sure to beat till everything has melted.
If you don’t have hot chocolate powder, then you can add in 1 tsp cocoa powder with 2 tsp sugar as a substitute.
